Our Story
MODY RODY started in 2021 with two people, a kitchen drawer full of things that didn’t work, and one question: why is it so hard to buy something ordinary?
We’re a husband-and-wife team. Over the years we’d bought plenty of gear that looked fine online and let us down at home — coffee gear that dented within a month, a foam roller that went soft, a bath pillow that stayed damp for days.
So we stopped shopping the way everyone else does. Instead of chasing the cheapest, we started testing things where they’d actually be used: on our own kitchen bench, in the gym bag, in the bath. If it held up, it stayed. If it didn’t, it went back in the pile.
What’s left is a small range of things that genuinely work. Same rule as day one: if we wouldn’t be happy to receive it ourselves, it doesn’t go up.
